St. Louis Vacants

The number of vacant lots and boarded up houses in St. Louis, Missouri is in the tens of thousands. Initiatives by Old North Restoration Group and Pruitt-Igoe Bee Sanctuary, to name two, are actively responding to this urban crisis, but more artists, activists and community members are urgently needed to enable intervention. While the following images may not represent our neighborhood or conception of this city, we need to begin viewing each community as integral to a collective St. Louis identity. One place to begin, is to look.
